Ongoing support

A dependable team after launch.

Keep your website and communications useful, current and looked after as your school changes.

Ongoing support work for schools

A useful, joined-up service

Ongoing support designed around your school.

A launch is the beginning of the relationship. Our support gives school teams a practical route for updates, improvements and advice, whether you need a small change or a considered next step.

Support and portal access

Go Schools Portal access is optional and priced separately from maintenance. Portal access and maintenance charges are confirmed in your quote; portal information and pricing are available on request.

What we can help with

We work with your team, your audience and the reality of school life.

Maintenance and advice that fits your team’s capacity

Support can be arranged without portal access

Keep the website useful as school life changes

Policies are revised, colleagues join, events are added and families need current information. Keeping a school website useful takes regular attention as well as technical care. We discuss the balance between work your team will manage and the changes you want us to help with, so the support arrangement fits how the school operates.

A request might be a small content update, a layout issue or advice about a new section. A larger change may need its own brief. Agreeing that distinction helps everyone understand what belongs in routine support and what needs a separate estimate, rather than treating every request as though it has the same scope.

A clear route from request to review

A useful request explains the page affected, the change needed and any relevant deadline, with approved wording or files attached. We can then discuss the work and clarify anything missing. Schools and trusts can identify the colleagues who are authorised to request and approve changes, giving the support relationship a practical structure.

Email remains a support route. The optional Go Schools Portal adds a shared place for request references, replies, files and progress, and the connector plugin can provide a route from your own WordPress site. Portal access is a separately priced bolt-on; schools can have maintenance without it. We confirm charges and inclusions in the quote.

How it works

A clear path
through your project.

We agree the stages, responsibilities and review points around your brief.

  1. Agree the support arrangement

Discuss the website, your team’s capacity and the work you need help with. Confirm included tasks, exclusions, contacts, costs and any response arrangements.

  2. Send a clear request

Provide the page address, approved content, relevant files and the date that matters. Use the agreed email route or add the optional portal service.

  3. Review and keep moving

Clarify the work, review the change and raise the next priority when needed. Larger improvements can be scoped separately from routine maintenance.

Before you start

Good questions.
Practical answers.

Every school brief is different. These are useful starting points for our first conversation.

Can we arrange maintenance without buying portal access?

Yes. Maintenance and portal access are separate services. Your school can have an agreed maintenance package and contact us through the established support route without adding the portal.

What does a package include?

We agree the scope around your website and needs. Discuss content updates, technical maintenance, advice and training, along with any exclusions and response arrangements. The quote or agreement sets out the actual inclusions; the services listed here are topics to discuss rather than a universal package promise.

How should we flag a time-sensitive change?

Include the date and reason in the request and use the agreed contact route. We will discuss what is needed and what is possible within the support arrangement. Do not assume a published turnaround or out-of-hours service unless it has been agreed.
